Intro Encounter
The intro level lets the player get used to the controls and how the game handles in a fairly safe environment. With only two enemies to deal with the player should be able to comfortably defeat them even if they make some mistakes with their unit’s positioning. It provides a space for the players to try out each weapon and see what they do before taking on the encounters.
Encounter I
Encounter 1 uses a more open space for combat. It starts with most enemies being quite far from the player, though one rogue can reach the player’s party turn 1. The level aims to introduce the player to each enemy type and gives them an open space to maneuver in. Area of effect skills are not quite as effective due to the there being less choke points for the enemies to get caught in.
Encounter II
Encounter II introduces the high ground mechanic and gives a more enclosed space to fight enemies in. It encourages the player to make use of the high ground and use area of effect skills once the enemies start getting to the choke points.
